Austin Armacost exploded onto the New York social scene, drink in hand, and on the arm of famed fashion designer/ Louis Vuitton mastermind Marc Jacobs when he was just about to turn twenty years old. After moving to New York City to pursue an already successful modelling career, Austin and Marc crossed paths at a fashion party and the rest is history. After a very public break up Austin was offered the chance to appear in the hit American television series The A List New York and the show was instantly a huge success. The Housewives style show was the first of its kind and after two seasons Austin became an internationally recognized cover model, PETA spokesman, and gay rights activist.
He became the face of a movement battling for same sex marriage equality in his home state of Indiana, travelling frequently to host massive parties such as Heatwave in Key West & Gay Days in Orlando. Austin is known for his double edged sword personality; one side being a hardcore party boy, and the other an extremely dedicated fighter in the movement for equality.
In 2015 Austin was the runner-up on Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 5 and definitely took the UK by storm having been previously mostly unknown here. His ‘bromance’ with fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemate and eventual winner James Hill was one of the most talked about entertaining parts of the series. After leaving the house Attitude Magazine voted Austin and James’ bromance as TV Moment Of The Year, with them gracing the front cover of the magazine. The same year Austin released his first ever calendar and landed his first role in pantomime in Northwich. Austin also shot for Prowler for an underwear campaign gracing their store fronts and website.
2016 saw Austin undertake many campaigns for brands including shooting underwear campaigns for Diesel and Aussie Bum. Austin also released his second calendar and undertook his second pantomime role as Prince Charming in Snow White in Rochdale. Austin also graced the front cover of Gay Times Magazine for their naked issue. 2017 started with a bang with Austin taking part in Celebrity Big Brother for Channel 5 again, only this time as an All Star housemate.
