Brandon Block

You would have to travel far and wide to find a place where the name Brandon Block is not known. Brandon has carried a legendary status tag ever since being one the first residents on the Space terrace, Ibiza. His residency was arguably one of the initial driving forces behind the clubs worldwide notoriety as one of the best places to party.

His DJing has also encompassed, being one of the first DJs in Dubai, from 99’ until now has been 3 times every year ever since, holding residencies at Chi, Zinc, Diamonds, Atlantis the original at Hardrock, Also various clubs in Marbella, BCM Mallorca, Various Trips to Hong Kong, A yearly excursion to Koh Samui in Thailand, playing at Black Moon, full Moon, and various clubs as well as Las Vegas, L.A, South America, all of Europe, Greek Islands, Israel any many more.

Brandon’s’ success and infectious personality lead to a stream of fantastic opportunities throughout the entire music industry. The highlights of this include, hosting one of the highest rated radios shows on Kiss FM and the highly successful spin off compilation albums.
In addition to his DJ work Brandon has launched his own specialist international travel DJ bag, The Blox Box and has he had three singles released under his Blockster alias – “Something Goin’ On”, “Grooveline” and “You Should Be..” all of which were released by Ministry of Sound. “You Should Be…” was a remix of “You Should Be Dancing” by the Bee Gees, and reached number 3 in the UK Singles Chart in January 1999, and “Grooveline” reached number 18 in July 1999.

Brandon is no stranger to TV either – he appeared on the chat show Heads Up with Richard Herring, Channel Five’s reality television show Trust Me – I’m A Holiday Rep, The Weakest Link Music Extravaganza Edition, Celebrity Fear Factor, Celebrity Extreme Detox, Celebrity Scissor Hands for Children in Need & Channel 4’s Come Dine with Me.

His autobiography was published in January 2012 and Block also hosted a show alongside fellow DJ and friend Alex P on MTV Dance, where they toured Ibiza interviewing clubbers from around the island, and played the latest dance videos and he formerly presented Brandon Block’s Video Hits on Rapture TV.

Brandon is infamous for his party spirit but in equal measure his ability to capture that spirit in his DJ sets. Though Brandon has become more discerning over the years, the raw energy his DJ sets bring to a dance-floor remains. Musically Brandon has a wealth of experience and is a staunch champion of the funkier end of house.

Add this all together and it is easy to see why Brandon Block is a true celebrated dance music icon and has clearly no plans to rest on his laurels. Roll on The Next 20 years!!!
